💰 Moneymaking Hints, Tips, and Ideas 💡Part 3: The Roadmap

Apr 13, 2024

In Part 2 of my "Moneymaking Hints, Tips and Ideas" series, I recapped how referral marketing works and gave tips on sharing your referral links and codes. Assuming you've started to do this, you've hopefully already benefited from the earnings and opportunities that Referral World offers! And if you're wondering where to go from here, consider these recommendations:

Must-Have Apps

Referral World is what you choose to make of it. That said, I highly recommend building up a baseline of referral apps to maximize your potential earnings. You can begin by signing up for each of these "must-have" apps:

Cash App
https://cash.app/app/NDXTLPJ - code NDXTLPJ
I can't recommend this app highly enough! Cash App is among the most popular online banking and P2P payment apps in Referral World. Cash App gives you an instant $5 signup bonus when you download the app, enter code NDXTLPJ, and send anyone $5; you'll also get your own referral link and code for instant referral bonuses ranging from $5 to $30. This app has numerous benefits, including connecting the virtual card to various apps to trigger bonuses, receiving payments from other referrers if they're offering pay to sign up for apps they're referring to, sending payments to others if you're offering to pay, and more.

Chime

Like Cash App, Chime is an online banking and p2p payment app. Just like with Cash App, I can't recommend Chime highly enough. You'll get a $100 signup bonus when you receive a qualifying $200+ deposit within 45 days of signing up. And you'll get your own referral link you can share to earn $100-$175 referral bonuses.

Chime has many of the same benefits Cash App has. In addition, most/all financial apps that have a "connect your bank" requirement connect to Chime. And it's an extremely easy, 2-minute signup process.

Varo

In September 2023, Varo added the ability to send p2p payments, called "Varo to Anyone." The funny thing is that this feature went mostly unnoticed as they didn't make an official announcement. Not only does this make Varo a must-have app, but you'll also get an impressive $30 signup bonus when you sign up and add $20 to your account from an external source (instant transfers from another debit card, cash deposits, or ACH transfers) and spend $20 ANYWHERE within 30 days! Varo also offers $30 referral bonuses (up to 5 bonuses per calendar year).

PayPal, Venmo and Zelle

All three apps/services are must-haves for the same reasons I listed for Cash App and Chime!

PayPal offers additional benefits, such as sending invoices that can trigger certain bonuses, such as Revolut, Monzo, and Varo. And right now, you can get a $10 signup bonus when you use my link and send anyone $5 within 30 days of signup! The referral links are targeted and offered to members randomly, which gets you $10 referral bonuses for each successful signup (up to ten bonuses).

Venmo gives you another option for sending and receiving payments to/from other referrers. Additionally, certain apps you sign up for will only have PayPal and Venmo as payout methods, such as Brandclub and Solo.

Zelle is great because it's a third-party service used by most banks and credit unions, enabling you to send/receive payments even if you and the other party don't have the same bank.

Note that PayPal and Venmo have targeted referral promotions. Some people have a link; others don't.

Referral World is your oyster once you have these apps in your arsenal!

Sign up for and Refer Apps that Interest You!

Sure, Referral World can make you some really good side money and, for some, even be their primary source of income. But if you're just starting, I highly encourage you to sign up for and refer apps that speak to you... apps you use and enjoy.

Do you enjoy using GPT apps like InboxDollars, MyPoints, Scrambly, Split Drop, Swagbucks, etc.? Or, do you enjoy shopping and can benefit from Cashback apps and sites? At least initially, I recommend focusing on those apps primarily. Utilize and learn the ins and outs of these apps so you can share tips and tricks with the people you refer to these opportunities. Doing this will help you enjoy the whole experience while referring to these apps and making money.

I signed up for anything and everything a few years back with only the bonuses in mind. While there's nothing wrong with that approach, I admittedly ended up signing up for a bunch of "junk apps"... some I was so disinterested in that I never even finished the signup process. Or else, I triggered the bonus but saw no value in the app and never used or referred it to others.

Go at your own Pace!

Depending on where you refer apps, you may be inclined to judge your success by comparing it to the success of other referrers. This can be to the detriment of referrers who are just starting out on their referral marketing journey. I often see a post from someone saying, "I can't get a single signup." Be patient with yourself! You will earn money if you're willing to sign up for apps and trigger the bonuses. And while sharing your link doesn't guarantee people will use your link, what is guaranteed is that you'll make $0 by NOT sharing your link/code with others. The longer you refer, the more success you will find as you learn what works best for you and gain trust from those you work with.
